This wedding was a joy to do. Such good friends to hire us and trust us to do what they wanted and needed. We not only did the flowers for this event, but we were also the day of coordinators. The family also hired some of our teenagers to help bus tables and take out the trash. The kids did a great job.
We have never worked with or at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu and it was so lovely. The atmosphere was breathtaking and the flowers added such a nice feel. It was all on the tables with a mix of bottles, vases with candles, along with decorating the alter where the couple was married. The flowers were with the bride as well as the bridesmaids and there were accents of them on the tables as well. It looked very beautiful with the white, blue and green. We used bay leaves, silver dollar eucalyptus, seeded eucalyptus, rosemary and olive leaves to give different textures and smells. It was lovely.

I thought they turned out pretty great considering! Not too expensive, but still nice.

I used yellow roses, red carnations, yellow and red alstromeria with some salal leaves. I also used the greenery from the alstromeria and the roses. All tucked away in a gold, plastic footed bowl.

We LOVED these flowers! The orange roses (milva and cherry brandy) with cream and sahara roses look so nice with the succulents, orange freesias, dusty miller and orange ranunucluas. We tied the stems with burlap and rafia and think it looks so pretty!

For the groom, we used the same type of succulent and added some seeded eucalyptus. These are the centerpieces that were in a square glass vase about 5" cubed. They are Cool water and Pacific Blue roses with some bright pink rhapsody roses, purple lisianthus, white lisianthus, light purple lisianthus and different shades of purple to pink hydrangea. They look so lush and rich!

This is the bride's bouquet with some of the same flowers as above, but with some freesias and some white cymbidium orchids. We always try to out something delightful smelling in the bouquet. Flowers should not only look pretty, but smell pretty, too.
These were two large arrangements in silver orchid pots that were the sides to where they got married on the beautiful marble staircase at the courthouse.
The cake flowers were some listed above, plus the orchid. When the groom proposed, he had the ring in an orchid on the bride's dinner plate. Sweet, huh?
This wedding was for a friend who got married at the Camarillo House. The reception was in the barn and it was really fun to shoot pictures this time of day!

The brides bouquet. She wanted some charms added to it and I thought it was a nice personal touch. She also wanted some bling added, which we did at the last minute and that's when the glue gun would've come in really handy!
These were the bridesmaids bouquets. They each had a little charm as well to tell them apart. These ones had white lisianthus as well as one peony and some freesias and spray roses.
One of my sweet Young Women helped us with her sister's flowers. She was so excited to do her first bridal bouquet and have it be for her sister. She did a great job! I loved the combo of flowers and how happy it was! Yellow garden roses, yellow spray roses, white dahlias, blue hydrangea, yellow button mums and some cream roses.

The bridesmaids held gorgeous dahlias. These ones were pink but there also was yellow, dark orange, light orange and white ones. The groom wore a yellow rose for his boutonniere. The colors really pop in pictures!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2897212535783836954.post-69980369849615812352012-07-01T22:53:00.001-07:002012-07-01T22:53:03.782-07:00Kim and Dave

I thought these flowers turned out great! They are white lilies, white peonies, lizzies, larkspur and white roses. All white is so pretty! Especially when you have a bunch of different textures. We put them in a really pretty "crystal" looking bouquet holder.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2897212535783836954.post-10176697846856267822012-07-01T22:32:00.000-07:002012-07-01T22:32:05.722-07:00Brian and Eila

These were for a friend's open house at my Aunt and Uncle's house. We thought they turned out so pretty! They are made up of variegated Italian pitisporum, light and dark purple sweet peas, white roses, queen anne's lace, lavender lisianthus and maybe some freesias.

A close friend of ours asked us to do some flowers for her mother's funeral. It was so fun since this sweet woman loved gardening and loved orange flowers! We thought each arrangement looked so happy and very springy. We were so happy to have been able to do this for them!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2897212535783836954.post-45940345242176635922012-05-30T20:55:00.004-07:002012-05-30T20:55:57.731-07:00Christian and Bronwyn's Camarillo Reception

We would love to do flowers for your sweetheart. Below are some examples of arrangements and the cost. Please let us know by February 3 what you would like to order. If you don't see something you like, we can create whatever you want for a reasonable price. Or if you need something smaller, just let us know. We will work with your budget.
